Responsibilities include seating guests, taking accurate orders with attention to dietary needs, coordinating courses, and handling payments at the POS. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to ensure smooth service.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Experience with Indian cuisine is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, dietary restrictions, and allergy protocols.
• Ability to multitask and stand or walk for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Welcome guests warmly, seat them promptly, and present menus with enthusiasm.
• Explain regional Indian dishes, preparation methods, and customize spice levels.
• Record orders accurately using the POS and relay dietary requests to the kitchen.
• Assist guests with meal curation and ensure timely course delivery.
• Suggest traditional drinks and pairings to complement dishes.
• Clear dishes, replenish beverages, and keep the dining area clean.
• Present checks and handle cash/card transactions at the POS.
• Complete pre-shift setup and post-shift side-work to keep service ready.
