Job summary

Surrey Hills Grocer in Singapore is seeking a proactive service crew member to support daily operations across our Australian cafe and restaurant concepts, including Western, Taiwanese and Japanese outlets.

You will deliver warm, knowledgeable service, manage seating and queues during peak hours, assist in cashiering, and work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining experiences. Training provided with opportunities for career growth and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in F&B or kitchen operations is preferred but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the service team during daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism, warmth, and knowledge of the menu.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate seating, reservations, and queue management during peak hours.
• Train and guide junior service staff on SOPs, service standards, and product knowledge.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the dining area and service stations.
• Assist in cashiering duties and ensure accurate billing and payment handling.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely food service.
