Job summary

GAIA Culinary in Singapore is seeking an energetic Service Crew member to greet guests, seat them, take and relay orders, and collaborate with the kitchen to ensure accurate fulfillment. You will also assist with reservations and ensure timely service.

You will handle payments, maintain cleanliness per SOPs, and support overall dining excellence while working flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in Fine Dining.
• Prior experience working in a preopening team would be advantageous.
• Possess strong knowledge in food and beverage.
• Comfortable with flexible work hours including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, escort them to their tables and prepare tables for service efficiently to create a positive dining experience.
• Accurately take customer orders and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Take reservations and respond promptly to customers inquiries.
• Serve food and beverages promptly.
• Collect payment from customers and perform other cashiering duties if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and restaurant in line with SOPs and food hygiene/safety regulations, such as adherence to SFA's standards.
• Follow Operational SOPs consistently to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of the restaurant menu and products to provide excellent service.
• Any other duties as assigned.
