Job summary

ING Wholesale Banking Asia Finance in Singapore seeks an experienced Group Reporting professional to perform entity control and consolidated reporting for Singapore entities. You will leverage IFRS expertise within a financial services context and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Lending, Financial Markets, Treasury and Corporate Advisory to deliver accurate group reports.

You will oversee month-end close, review reporting schedules per ING policies, ensure regulatory SOX controls,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a financial institution, preferably in financial reporting or with audit background.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• CPA/CA certification or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of local and international accounting standards (IFRS) and implications.
• Strong understanding of financial market products, hedge accounting and valuation adjustments.
• Proficient in communicating with stakeholders and independent problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month end ledger closing process and review one-off journal entries.
• Review HO reporting schedules for proper ING reporting in line with policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with minimum standards for financial/regulatory reporting and SOX controls.
• Provide insightful commentaries to front office on business performance for HO reports.
• Represent Finance in Local Parameter Committee meetings and advise on accounting treatments.
• Prepare audited financial statements in accordance with reporting standards.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to existing processes and controls.
• Support data quality improvement initiatives and investigation.
• Manage outsourced service providers and participate in ad-hoc projects.
