Job summary

Confidential in Singapore seeks an Accounting COE Specialist to support accounting, reporting, audit, and compliance. The role partners with finance teams to strengthen close discipline, ensure IFRS compliance, and drive finance transformation.

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, prepare IFRS and statutory reports, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support internal controls and SOX readiness across regions. Strong Excel and ERP experience required.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of accounting, controllership, or financial management experience.
• Experience in a multinational company or large enterprise.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and statutory reporting.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, close processes, financial reporting, and audit support.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and financial reporting activities, including income statement and balance sheet areas, intercompany transactions, tax-related accounting, and GL activity.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate aged reconciling items, resolve issues promptly, maintain documentation per policy.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closes; prepare IFRS reporting deliverables and local statutory reports.
• Prepare analyses, control documentation, and schedules for revenue, costs, expenses, and intercompany activity.
• Support external audit, tax, statutory reporting, and compliance by coordinating with teams and advisors.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across finance processes and systems (Dynamics, OneStream).
• Participate in standardized accounting processes and templates across regions.
• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity visibility; assist in improving cash collection plans.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting with reliable financial insights.
• Maintain internal control documentation and evidence for SOX readiness.
