Job summary

ING Wholesale Banking Asia Finance in Singapore seeks an experienced professional for Group Reporting and entity control across Singapore entities. You will be responsible for month-end close, statutory reporting, and ensuring SOX controls while partnering with front office to illuminate business performance.

Role demands strong IFRS knowledge, independent stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with Power BI/Tableau for data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in financial reporting or audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent with CPA/CA qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of local and international financial reporting standards.
• Strong understanding of financial market products, hedge accounting and valuation.
• Knowledge of liquidity coverage ratio and net stable funding ratio requirements.
• Clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Positive can-do attitude, attention to detail, and independence to resolve issues.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end ledger closing and review one-off journal entries.
• Review HO reporting schedules for timely submission to HO.
• Ensure compliance with financial/regulatory reporting standards and SOX controls.
• Provide commentary with front office on business performance for HO reports
• Represent Finance in Local Parameter Committee meetings
• Advise on accounting treatment to stakeholders
• Prepare audited financial statements per standards
• Evaluate processes and propose improvements
• Support data quality initiatives and investigations
• Manage outsourced service providers
• Participate in automation and ad-hoc projects
