Job summary

ING Wholesale Banking Asia Finance is seeking an experienced Group Reporting professional to manage entity control and group reporting for Singapore entities. You will apply IFRS knowledge, work with multiple stakeholders, and ensure accurate month-end close and regulatory reporting.

You will partner with front office, support SOX controls, and contribute to finance process improvements while collaborating across Lending, Financial Markets, Treasury and Corporate Advisory teams.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in a financial institution with focus on financial reporting or auditing.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent, plus CPA/CA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of local and international financial reporting standards and recent issues.
• Understanding of financial market products, hedge accounting and valuation drivers.
• Knowledge of liquidity coverage ratio and NSFR requirements preferred.
• Clear and effective stakeholder communication skills are essential.
• Proactive attitude with attention to detail and problem solving abilities.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Power BI and Tableau is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end ledger close, review unusual entries and adjustments.
• Review HO reporting schedules for compliance with ING policies and SOX controls.
• Ensure timely, accurate regulatory and financial reporting.
• Partner with front office for insights on performance across HO reports.
• Represent Finance in Local Parameter Committee meetings.
• Advise on accounting treatments for varied stakeholders.
• Prepare audited financial statements under applicable standards.
• Evaluate processes and suggest improvements; support data quality initiatives.
• Manage outsourced service providers and participate in ad-hoc projects.
