Job Description
To support the Group Procurement function by developing and automating a procurement reporting solution, including a procurement indicator tool, while gaining hands‑on exposure to sourcing, procurement operations, and the organization’s e‑procurement system (Coupa).
Key Deliverables
- Develop a set of procurement indicator reports using Power BI or other approved reporting tools.
- Support the design and automation of a procurement indicator tool using data extracted from Coupa.
- Produce spend analysis, compliance indicators, and efficiency metrics to support informed decision‑making.
- Deliver basic user guidance or knowledge sharing to ensure internal stakeholders can use the reporting tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. E‑Procurement System Familiarization (Coupa)
- Gain hands‑on exposure to the organization’s Coupa e‑procurement platform.
- Explore system functionalities, reports, and analytical features to support procurement operations and data extraction.
2. Sourcing & Procurement Operations Support
- Support daily sourcing and procurement activities to build an understanding of end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- Assist the procurement team with data preparation and operational support related to sourcing activities.
3. Procurement Reporting & Analytics
- Collect, validate, cleanse, and integrate procurement data from Coupa and other sources.
- Perform spend analysis and identify trends, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate raw data into actionable insights for procurement stakeholders.
4. Dashboard Development & Automation
- Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual procurement reporting effort.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with procurement team members to understand reporting needs.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting support as required.
Requirements
- Polytechnic or undergraduate student in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Power BI or data visualisation tools preferred.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work with data and stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn procurement processes and systems.
