Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager (Grants Management) to support the full lifecycle of grant programmes. You will assist in designing funding frameworks, ensuring governance, and coordinating evaluation processes with expert panels to select impactful projects.

You will manage stakeholder engagement across academia, industry, and government, oversee budgets, and monitor project delivery to ensure alignment with national cybersecurity objectives and audit

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of grant management, research administration or programme management experience.
• Experience designing and managing funding programmes or large-scale initiatives.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate across academia, industry and government stakeholders.
• Knowledge of research and innovation ecosystems, preferably cybersecurity or deep tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Lead in grant strategy and programme design, including funding frameworks and evaluation approaches.
• Governance and policy development to ensure transparency and accountability in grant administration.
• Oversee proposal evaluations with expert panels to select high-potential projects.
• Engage with universities, research institutes, industry, and government for collaboration.
• Manage grant budgets and funding allocation with adherence to financial controls.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables and real-world cybersecurity impact.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team for high-performance collaboration.
