Job summary

The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) at Nanyang Technological University invites a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Grant Administration to oversee grant lifecycle and financial management.

You will review proposals, manage budgets, report forecasts, and ensure compliance with funders' guidelines while coordinating with PIs, researchers, and agencies. The role also covers ARIBA processing, manpower funding, and grant calendar maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance/Business or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of grant administration experience in research/higher education.
• Experience with benchmarking (e.g., H-index, FWCI) is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with researchers, funding agencies and senior leadership while ensuring governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full grant lifecycle: application submission, award creation, variations and grant closure.
• Review grant proposals, communicate approved budgets, and ensure compliance with funding guidelines.
• Provide financial and grant advisory support to PIs, researchers, funding agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor grant budgets, verify expenses, prepare forecasts and reports, and follow up on funding disbursements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on grant administration matters and identify new grant opportunities.
