Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (Go, Java, C++, Python, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, OS, databases, networks or distributed systems.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and operate high-quality backend services for global payment and financial systems.
• Build standardized capabilities across payments, refunds, settlement, merchant services, billing, and other money-movement workflows.
• Develop end-to-end payment solutions by connecting business systems with payment platform capabilities across services and markets.
• Improve scalability, availability, performance, security, and observability of high-volume systems.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and automation.
• Explore AI-native capabilities and agent-based workflows to improve payment operations and productivity.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, operations teams, and external partners.
• Participate in design reviews, production-readiness, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Learn fundamentals of payment systems and contribute ideas with measurable impact.
