Job summary

DXC Technology Inc. invites fresh graduates to join its GRIT programme as an Onsite Engineer Trainee in Singapore. You will gain practical experience in end-user computing, desktop support, and workplace technology services for enterprise users.

You will work with experienced IT professionals, assisting in hardware/software troubleshooting, device deployment, and IT service management while learning enterprise IT best practices in a global organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline (graduated 2024–2026).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent user support.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
• Support basic network connectivity, email, VPN, and application access issues.
• Assist with user account provisioning, password resets, and access management activities.
• Support software installations, upgrades, patching, and system updates.
• Participate in asset management, including device inventory tracking.
• Assist with imaging, deployment, and configuration of end-user devices as per standards.
• Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing/service systems.
• Support daily service desk and onsite operations to resolve tickets promptly.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and app support teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in IT service management processes and adherence to SLAs.
• Maintain compliance with IT security policies and standards.
• Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
