Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our APAC InfraOps function. You’ll manage GPU infrastructure, automate operations, and work with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability and scale.

This remote role is open to candidates in Singapore, with a Monday–Friday schedule (UTC+8) and on‑call rotation. You’ll design platforms, deploy updates, and reduce toil through monitoring and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Linux server experience (Ubuntu a plus).
• 5+ years AWS experience.
• 2+ years Kubernetes experience.
• 2+ years Terraform and Ansible experience.
• 2+ years NAS management (NFS, Ceph or similar).
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, ELK).
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Software automation using Python/Go/Bash to connect systems and APIs.
• Strong networking fundamentals; data center networks useful.
• Ability to balance design, risk, cost and outcomes.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and roll out platforms to minimize incidents and enable features.
• Deploy updates to support internal and end-user use cases.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Network Operations, CS and Software teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation (primary/secondary).
