Job summary

Singtel Digital InfraCo is building Asia’s leading AI compute and connectivity platform. We are hiring an Operations Engineer to support Singtel’s GPUaaS data centres, handling on-site operations and integration of software systems powering AI workloads.

You will manage data centre facilities, participate in on-call support, and contribute to safety, efficiency, and reliability of GPU-oriented infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Broad understanding of data centre infrastructure, including electrical & mechanical systems.
• Experience in maintaining and operating data centre equipment, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Organised, adaptable, and able to respond to changing operational requirements and schedules.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in GPU-oriented data centre technologies.

Responsibilities

• Data Centre Operations Management: respond to, attend to, and escalate incidents; perform hands-on operations for air-cooled and liquid-cooled systems and electrical infrastructure; participate in continuous improvement of operational processes; coordinate security clearances for visitors and vendors; manage vendor activities and ensure compliance with safety and site regulations; participate in on-call support outside standard hours.
• Data Centre Facilities Management: monitor power, cooling, leakage detection, and environmental controls; maintain data centre documentation and incident reports; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues; ensure SOPs/MOPs/ERPs are followed; plan capacity and coordinate maintenance with vendors; prepare monthly health/performance reports; inspect servers and cooling units; collaborate with remote engineering teams.
