Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd is seeking an Import/Export Operations Specialist in Singapore to manage day-to-day cross-border movements with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. You will engage with customs, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipments and robust record-keeping.

The role requires 3–5 years in import/export or trade-related roles, strong documentation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel for data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in import/export operations, trade compliance, logistics, or related role.
• Working knowledge of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and trade documentation.
• Experience coordinating shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage transactional accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Execute import and export transactions in accordance with applicable customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate trade documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping records.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve issues related to delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs holds.
• Support compliance with trade regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and data within trade, logistics, and ERP systems.
• Assist with reporting, metrics tracking, and data analysis related to import/export activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
