Job summary

Tencent Singapore is seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel to support its rapidly growing global business from Singapore. You will assess regulatory risks, shape product and service operations, and provide practical legal guidance across markets.

You will partner with business teams, monitor regulatory developments, and help implement compliance frameworks and training. English and Mandarin proficiency is required, and 3–5 years PQE in a common law jurisdiction is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years PQE, qualified in Hong Kong, Singapore, or another comparable common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in regulatory compliance gained in-house at a technology/internet company, a law firm advising tech clients, or a government regulatory body.
• Strong product sense and curiosity about the technology industry.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business groups to identify regulatory and compliance risks and provide actionable legal advice.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across key global markets.
• Support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and training programs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage regulatory inquiries and investigations.
