Job summary

GTS Consulting in Singapore seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to management and departments. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts to safeguard the company’s interests and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role involves representing the company in litigation, arbitration, and mediation, collaborating with external counsel, and developing robust legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• At least five years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
• Experience with cross-border transactions, technology, cloud services, data centres, or infrastructure is an advantage.
• Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to management and departments on a wide range of legal issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other documents to protect company interests.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and advise on legal risks.
• Represent the company in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Collaborate with external counsel to manage complex matters.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments and industry trends.
• Provide training on legal and compliance matters to employees.
