Job summary

SGTech in Singapore is seeking a seasoned professional to drive internationalisation initiatives for local tech SMEs and start-ups. You will analyze overseas markets, design market-entry strategies, and lead programmes that expand global reach while ensuring financial discipline and grants compliance.

You will collaborate with trade agencies, entrepreneurs, and industry partners to build a global tech network, manage communications, and oversee performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in international business development, programme management, or ecosystem building.
• Proven experience in managing government grants, particularly LEAD or similar funding schemes.
• Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and P&L management.
• Excellent market research and analytical capabilities to support strategic decisions.
• Meticulous in handling documentation, claims, and programme implementation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse overseas markets with potential for local tech SMEs and start-ups.
• Develop and implement market entry strategies to support international expansion.
• Design initiatives to enhance the global competitiveness of Singapore tech companies.
• Lead and manage internationalisation programmes, including planning, execution, and performance tracking.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure programmes align with strategic objectives.
• Support companies in processing government grant applications and claims.
• Drive outreach and recruitment for programme participation.
• Collaborate with trade and investment agencies, entrepreneurs, and partners to identify opportunities.
• Develop and manage a global tech network portal and onboard partners including TACs.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop A&P materials and support publicity efforts.
• Monitor financial performance and P&L of internationalisation programmes against budgets and targets.
• Coordinate grant applications, reporting, milestone tracking, and audits.
• Engage with stakeholders and represent SGTech at global events and missions.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations; conduct post-programme evaluations.
