Job summary

Maersk's Ocean Global Stowage Planning team seeks a Stowage Planner to design safe, efficient vessel stowage plans, balancing safety, cargo and crew needs while supporting global trade from our Singapore hub.

You will manage planning across trade lanes, work with terminals and ship commands, participate in rotations, complete assessments, and contribute to procedures that improve productivity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in stowage planning and cargo operations.
• Ability to coordinate with terminals, ship commands and deployment teams.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe and efficient vessel stowage plans with proper segregation of dangerous goods.
• Independently manage stowage planning across trade lanes and vessel segments.
• Maintain high planning standards to maximise vessel utilisation while controlling costs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align with vessel schedules and operational requirements.
• Identify risks, communicate impacts, and drive actions to prevent disruptions.
• Lead or participate in operational improvement initiatives and SOP reviews.
