Job summary

JERAGM Singapore is seeking an experienced Settlements professional to manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable settlements for both physical and financial trading activities, ensuring accurate pricing, due date calculations and timely invoicing.

You'll coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, monitor aging receivables, support system implementations and drive process improvements while maintaining strong controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Settlements experience, preferably in commodity trading.
• Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience in process improvement, system implementations, automation or transformation projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, UAT and change implementation is a plus.
• Strong controls, risk awareness and governance understanding.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of IMOS, Horizon and SUN systems is advantageous.
• Experience with Power BI/Power Automate/Power Apps is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, reconcile and settle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices for all trading activities.
• Ensure pricing, due date calculations and invoices align with contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor aging reporting and ensure timely receivable collections.
• Collaborate with Operations to clear overdue payables/receivables and unallocated cash items.
• Perform settlement validations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and control enhancements.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing and business transformation projects affecting settlements.
• Analyze operational issues, identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in developing reports, dashboards, workflows and MIS tools; work with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and controls.
• Maintain Settlements SOP documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• May need to work outside normal hours or on Singapore public holidays.
• May cover London settlements during London business hours.
