Job summary

Kerry Consulting PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Trade Settlements Executive to support physical and financial trading across commodities.

You will manage creation, reconciliation and settlement of invoices across AP/AR, ensure pricing accuracy and timely cash collection. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting, at least two years of settlements experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with trading systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• At least two years of settlements experience.
• Experience within commodity trading preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create, distribute, reconcile and settle invoices across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure accurate pricing, payment dates and tax treatment per contracts and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support cash collection.
• Prepare ageing reports and clear overdue balances and unallocated cash.

A global energy company is seeking a Trade Settlements Executive to join its team in Singapore, supporting physical and financial trading activities across commodities products

Role

Manage the creation, distribution, reconciliation and settlement of invoices across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accurate pricing, payment dates and tax treatment in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely cash collection, prepare ageing reports and clear overdue balances and unallocated cash. Support process improvements, maintain updated settlement procedures and assist with additional projects assigned by the Settlements Managers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification. At least two years of settlements experience is preferred, ideally within commodity trading, with training provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential, while familiarity with IMOS, and trading system would be advantageous. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
