Job summary

WorldFirst in Singapore is seeking a Partner Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and launch strategic partnerships with banks, wallets, remittance companies, fintechs, and other financial institutions to grow our cross-border remittance network.

You will translate strategy into expansion plans, drive initiatives to meet targets, and coordinate across Product, Tech, Operations, Legal, Risk, and partner teams to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or partnerships within financial services.
• Experience with client acquisition and relationship management is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of cross‑border remittance or payments industry and commercial models.
• Excellent communication and project management skills across regions and functions.

Responsibilities

• Translate the overall strategy for cross‑border personal remittance into clear partnership expansion plans.
• Drive execution of partnership initiatives to deliver targets and outcomes.
• Build understanding of the cross‑border remittance industry and align with priorities.
• Identify high‑potential opportunities using market and partner insights.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external stakeholders across Product, Tech, Operations, Legal, Risk, and partner teams.
• Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and generate tangible business results.
• Develop knowledge of industry products, models, and commercial terms.
• Identify new business opportunities and propose remittance models or product enhancements.
• Drive projects end‑to‑end from idea to launch.
