Job summary

Salt is seeking a Public Policy Manager for an 8-month contract to oversee legislative and policy analysis, advocacy support, and regulatory readiness. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable policy solutions and drive alignment on content regulation strategy.

You will engage stakeholders across policy, legal, and engineering teams to respond to evolving regulatory guidance and help shape practical, compliant approaches globally.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in public policy or government institutions (government agencies, regulators, legislatures, think tanks, NGOs, or advocacy).
• Experience in internet technologies, security, privacy, integrity, safety, content moderation policy environments.

Responsibilities

• Support global content regulation strategy and policy alignment to influence regulatory outcomes.
• Respond to regulatory developments affecting the company with legislative analysis and advocacy strategy.
• Partner with engineering, product, reg readiness and operations to identify compliance gaps and co-design scalable solutions.
• Engage stakeholders across policy, legal, and integrity teams to build consensus on compliance approaches.
