Job summary

DSV AIR & SEA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced logistics professional to handle customer inquiries, coordinate shipments, and manage documentation.

You will work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of shipments and timely responses. The role focuses on customer management and operations, requiring knowledge of freight forwarding, space booking, customs docs, and conformity with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Experience in Oil & Gas / Sea & Air Freight Forwarding.
• Strong cross-functional communication ability.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Able to operate in a matrix organization.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer inquiries on service features and ensure proficiency.
• Study inquiries and prepare proposals or quotations with departments.
• Coordinate shipment documents and notifications for customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
• Book space, arrange pickups and special requirements.
• Prepare shipping and customs documents and release them as required.
• Update information in the Tradenet system for outward permits.
• Coordinate with BU operators to execute job plans.
• Generate reports and review jobs for improvement.
• Close files and ensure procedural adherence.
