Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore. The role oversees end-to-end logistics coordination, ships daily operations, maintains documentation, and serves as the liaison between customers, suppliers, and 3PLs to meet service levels.

You will monitor import/export processes, prepare reports, and support the Operations team with data-driven improvements, while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of warehousing and inventory management experience.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of transportation operations (import/export processes preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Logistics Control Tower, overseeing end-to-end coordination.
  • Plan and manage daily logistics operations to support site requirements.
  • Provide administrative support and prepare operational reports.
  • Track and monitor import/export shipments and processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation governance for submission, filing, and audit purposes.
  • Liaison between the company, suppliers, and customers for logistics services.
  • Handle customer feedback and escalate internally for action and resolution.
  • Arrange with 3rd party transporters for delivery and collection.
  • Ensure weekly bulk chemicals stock is within permitted quantities.
  • Capacity planning for logistics resources in transportation (land and sea).
  • Generate and file documents for delivery purposes.
  • Update and compile logistics related reports.
  • Export/import cases logged for tracking and traceability.
  • Ensure documents are retrievable; submit permits to Tax/Finance timely.
  • Adhere to import/export, safety, storage, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide administrative support for the Operations department.
  • Ensure timely follow-up, booking, and event management with escalation when needed.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • First point of contact for operational issues with customers.
  • Track compliance of 3PL providers and carriers.
  • Assist in periodic reporting, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support the account manager to ensure quality metrics, on-time performance, and invoicing accuracy.
  • Suggest corrective actions to prevent/address issues.
  • Handle other ad-hoc assignments as required.

  • Liaison personnel between company and suppliers & customers in meeting their expectation and logistics services support.
  • Handle customer feedback and **escalate internal for action and resolution.**
  • Arrange and follow up with 3rd party transporter on goods delivery and collection.
  • Ensure all bulk chemicals ordering/supplies/stock inventory is within the permitted quantity on weekly basis/check.
  • Capacity planning for logistics resources in transportation (land and sea transport)
  • Generate relevant documents from system for delivery purpose.
  • All relevant document filling mailing and upload to customer web portal
  • Update and compile logistics related report.
  • Export/import-Ensure all cases are registered and logged for tracking and traceability purpose.
  • All documents must be filled and retrievable as and when required, Permit listing must be submitted timely to Tax Finance Dept.
  • Ensuring that current statutory legislation on import/export, transportation/shipment of dangerous goods, safety, storage, customs and exercise procedures and environmental requirements are adhered to at all times.
  • Provides basic administrative services in support for Operation department.
  • Ensure delivery of correct and timely follow up, booking and event management incl. timely escalation of issues,
  • Monitor KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • First point of contact for all operational issues with the customer.
  • Track compliance performance of 3PL providers and carriers.
  • Support the preparation of periodic reporting, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support contact/account manager to ensure quality metrics are achieved including on time performance, date accuracy, invoicing timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Suggest corrective actions as necessary to prevent/address issues as they arise.
  • Handling any other related ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehousing and inventory management
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good knowledge of transportation operations (import/export processes preferred)
