Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a highly skilled engineer to join the Global Product Support (GPS) team in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting next generation mainframes and robot technologies, developing and maintaining field procedures, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure tool health and performance.

You will participate in customer site startups, train field personnel, and help shape service strategies while working within standardized processes to meet project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering theories, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with standardized procedures to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new build and first startups at customer sites.
• Create and maintain hardware and service procedures for field use.
• Support engineering development process and ensure field aspects and serviceability requirements are incorporated.
• Analyze information and apply best‑known practices to support escalations.
