Job summary

Hytech seeks an experienced Head of Product Compliance to lead the global compliance function for a diverse portfolio of financial and trading products. This strategic role sits at the intersection of Product, Trading, Risk, Legal and Compliance, driving innovation while ensuring regulatory adherence across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline. Relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial services, FinTech, brokerage or digital assets, with substantial exposure to product compliance, regulatory advisory or financial product governance.
• Strong understanding of financial and trading products, including FX, derivatives, leveraged trading, digital assets and related trading mechanisms.
• Proven experience advising on new product launches, product structures and business initiatives, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical commercial solutions.
• Solid knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, preferably including APAC, Europe and the Middle East.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Product, Trading, Risk, Legal and Compliance functions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both English and Chinese to effectively engage regional Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the global product compliance framework from concept to launch and ongoing operations.
• Provide strategic compliance advisory for new products, features and initiatives in financial trading, brokerage, derivatives, and digital assets.
• Partner with Product, Trading, Engineering and leadership to align regulatory needs with commercial goals.
• Assess regulatory risk in product structures, trading mechanisms, customer journeys and business models.
• Support multi-jurisdictional product launches, ensuring regulatory alignment and licensing.
• Establish product approval processes, compliance assessments and post-launch monitoring.
• Lead and develop the Product Compliance function and advise senior management on regulatory matters.
