Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for compliance-related systems and solutions, aligning regulatory obligations with business objectives and technology capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to digitise, automate, and optimise compliance workflows across onboarding, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, regulatory reporting, and due diligence.
• Evaluate emerging regulatory developments, industry practices, and technology trends to identify opportunities for new product capabilities and enhancements.
• Define product priorities based on regulatory urgency, business impact, operational efficiency, implementation complexity, and scalability.
• Work closely with Compliance and Legal to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear product specifications, rules, workflows, and system controls.
• Convert regulatory policies and compliance procedures into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance considerations are incorporated throughout the product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-launch reviews.
• Support regulatory gap assessments and evaluate existing systems against new or changing regulatory requirements.
• Drive the enhancement of compliance technology capabilities, including automated KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, case management, risk scoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting.
• Explore the application of AI, machine learning, data analytics, and workflow automation to improve compliance effectiveness.
• Assess third-party RegTech solutions, vendors, and partnerships, including integration feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to improve system integration, data quality, alert effectiveness, auditability, and management reporting.
• Serve as the key liaison between Compliance, Product, Engineering, Risk, Operations, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on product objectives and deliverables.
