Job summary
Rio Tinto is seeking a Superintendent, People to lead day-to-day People Operations service delivery in Singapore. You will guide a high-volume shared services team, ensure accurate employee lifecycle support, and drive operational excellence with strong customer focus.
You will report to the Manager People and shape governance, performance discipline and continuous improvement across designated operational teams.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in HR operations or shared services within a high-volume environment.
- Experience leading operational teams with coaching and capability development.
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR advisory activities.
- Experience delivering service against SLAs, quality metrics and targets.
- Ability to manage risks, escalations and stakeholder communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day People Operations delivery to meet service standards.
- Manage capacity, workflows and service queues to support timely resolutions.
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs and quality metrics with corrective actions as needed.
- Coach Senior Advisers and Analysts to build capability and performance.
- Ensure consistent HR processes, governance and controls across delivery.
- Handle escalations and complex cases with clear stakeholder communication.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement through reviews and reporting.
