Job summary

KLA is seeking an NPI Engineer to support production transfer of new products at our Singapore site. You will act as the on-site engineering representative, coordinating with hardware design, supply chain, and operations to ensure fast, smooth ramp and production readiness.

You will manage BOM readiness, ECOs, and documentation, provide hands-on support during proto builds, and collaborate with MDE to drive process improvements. Travel to Israel, UK, and US may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or transfer to production.
• Strong BOM management and product configuration knowledge.
• Experience with PLM systems (Enovia – Advantage).
• Proficient in CAD modeling (Creo) and analyzing mechanical assemblies.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel to Israel, UK & US on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• NPI engineer on-site acts as the engineering representative on the production site.
• Bridge between HW engineering and Singapore operations enabling rapid decisions and shorter feedback loops.
• Ensure readiness of BOMs, procedures, tools and documentation for production release.
• Provide hands-on support during prototype builds and FAI.
• Collaborate with MDE to define, validate and improve production processes.
• Document production processes and participate in actual builds.
• Manage ECOs and drive ECO implementation on the production line.
• Participate in design for DfX: Service, Production and Operation.
• Train the manufacturing engineer.
• Travel to Israel, UK & US to work with designers and NPI team.
