Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to lead NPI, Product, Process, and Industrial Engineering functions in Singapore. You will drive performance by overseeing KPIs and coordinating with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.

The role emphasizes hands-on NPI execution, production ramp-up, and productivity improvements, with a focus on mentoring engineers and delivering projects on time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, including at least 2 years managing engineers.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across NPI, Product, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
Hands-on experience in NPI execution, production ramp-up, process optimisation, and productivity improvement.
Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Exposure to automation or digitalisation projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage NPI, Product, Process, and Industrial Engineering teams to achieve departmental goals and engineering deliverables.
Monitor engineering and operational KPIs, including yield, defect rates, productivity, cycle time, and project progress.
Set objectives, monitor performance, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion.
Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen technical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and leadership development.
Apply structured problem-solving methodologies, including 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and 8D.
Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
Manage engineering projects from planning to completion, including resources, timelines, risks, and stakeholder updates.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, digitalisation, and process standardisation.
