Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics in Singapore seeks an experienced NPI Project Lead to drive new product introductions from prototype to mass production. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, define processes, and ensure design for manufacturability.

This role requires hands-on assembly, process validation, and the ability to travel for customer builds and supplier activities. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading NPI projects from concept to mass production.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage timelines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process development and documentation (PFMEA, PCP, WI).
• Proven problem-solving skills and capability to implement corrective actions.
• Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities from kick-off through prototype, pilot, and mass production readiness.
• Organize and participate in NPI kick-off meetings to define scope, timeline, and deliverables.
• Act as technical focal point for NPI projects between customers and internal teams.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback during design reviews to improve manufacturability.
