Turner & Townsend in Singapore seeks a Lead Mechanical & Piping interface to drive integration with engineering consultants and contractors on large-scale capital projects in pharma, biotech, or process industries.

You will review designs, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, and oversee installation and handover, with travel up to 60% and potential relocation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience delivering large-scale capital projects in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or process industries.
• Proven experience as a Piping Lead on major greenfield projects.
• Experience working on large capital projects in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of piping design, construction, commissioning, and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 60%) and relocate as required during project execution phases.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead Mechanical & Piping interface with engineering consultants and contractors.
• Ensure piping and mechanical designs meet project requirements, applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Review and approve M&P engineering deliverables, including piping specifications, routing, supports, and 3D model inputs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated and compliant design.
• Support contractor selection, technical bid evaluations, and design reviews.
• Ensure EHS requirements are incorporated into design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Oversee piping installation, fabrication, quality inspections, and mock-ups during construction.
• Ensure project handover documentation is complete and meets project requirements.
