Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Singapore seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager to lead all E&I design activities across the project lifecycle. You will be the primary technical interface with engineering consultants and contractors, reviewing deliverables to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.

You will coordinate with Automation, IT, Piping, HVAC and Utilities teams for seamless integration, participate in 3D model reviews, and ensure EHS requirements are embedded

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Significant experience leading E&I engineering and design for large projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation interfaces.
• Experience working with EPC/EPCM contractors and engineering consultants.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all E&I design activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary technical interface with engineering consultants and contractors.
• Review and approve E&I deliverables, ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Automation, IT, Piping, HVAC and Utilities teams for integration.
• Participate in 3D model reviews and ensure E&I inputs at the appropriate level of detail.
• Ensure EHS requirements are embedded in design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Review and support RFPs, bids, contractor selection and procurement of equipment.
• Manage transition from design to detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee E&I installation activities, ensuring safety, quality and compliance.
• Attend vendor, fabrication and equipment workshops as required.
• Review and approve mock-ups, testing activities, and turnover documentation.
• Ensure complete as-built documentation and handover packages at project closeout.
