Job summary

OCBC Group invites applications for an internship in Global Markets, FXD – G7 & SGD. The role offers hands-on experience alongside traders, quants, and developers, focusing on FX options trading support, data analytics, and automation projects.

You will work on market data maintenance, backtesting, and tooling to improve pricing and risk analytics, while developing skills in Python and VBA within a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the FX Options trading desk, including funding activities, risk monitoring, reporting, and preparation of market analysis materials.
• Maintain and enhance databases containing FX options market information and trade data to support trading and research activities.
• Collaborate with traders to automate signal generation, perform backtesting, and analyze the performance of trading strategies.
• Work with front office developers and quants to enhance pricing tools and analytics infrastructure for FX options valuation.
• Develop VBA- and Python-based automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze trading, risk, and market data to support decision-making and business monitoring.
• Partner with trading, quantitative, and technology teams to deliver practical process improvements.
• Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and projects as assigned.
