Wilhelmsen Ship Management is expanding its Global Business Development team and seeks a commercially driven Business Development Associate to grow our Newbuilding Supervision business globally. You will identify opportunities, engage with maritime stakeholders, and coordinate proposals and tenders while aligning with internal teams to win new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Nautical Science.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a reputable university is an advantage.
• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for customer engagement and business development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the newbuilding supervision market.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, investors, leasing companies, shipyards, and other industry stakeholders.
• Prepare and coordinate customer proposals, tenders, presentations, and commercial submissions.
• Track industry developments and identify potential business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems.
