DIRECT SEARCH ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a business development professional to identify and pursue new opportunities in the shipbuilding and newbuilding sector in Singapore.

The role focuses on building relationships with shipowners, shipyards, and contractors while supporting commercial proposals and presentations for newbuilding projects. The candidate should have 2–5 years in maritime BD, strong communication and negotiation skills, and be proactive in driving opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within the maritime industry.
• Exposure to newbuilding projects, shipyards, or marine equipment is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an advantage
