Job summary

YONG WEN FOOD (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage import/export operations, permits, insurance, and shipping documentation while ensuring compliance and accurate records.

The role involves coordinating freight forwarding, transportation, and interdepartmental communication to maintain timely deliveries and optimize stock movements across the network. You will monitor shipments, resolve issues, and prepare logistics reports for submission to authorities,

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
Knowledge of freight forwarding, import/export operations and shipping documentation is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics-related systems.
Good organizational, communication and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Handle import and export operations, including permits, insurance, customs declarations and shipping documentation.
Coordinate logistics, freight forwarding, transportation and shipment arrangements.
Liaise with freight forwarders, Sales, Purchasing and other departments on shipment status and delivery schedules.
Prepare logistics reports and maintain accurate shipping records for submission to relevant authorities.
Monitor shipments, resolve logistics issues and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Planning and coordination of intercompany stock transfers.
