Job summary

Univers is seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Operations Lead to own and govern global production infrastructure. You will drive scalable operating models, partner with regional teams and vendors, and stay hands-on for critical decisions and major incidents.

The role requires a mastery of cloud, on-prem, and lifecycle governance to ensure reliability and sustainability. You will shape architecture, drive automation and standards, and mentor teams to elevate infrastructure capability across

Qualifications

• 10+ years in production infrastructure engineering or operations.
• Proven ability to lead across multi-region environments.
• Experience defining infrastructure standards, governance frameworks, operating models and lifecycle roadmaps.
• Experience with incident management and infrastructure transformation.
• Evidence of building reusable capability rather than only resolving individual technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Infrastructure Operations capability including governance and roadmap.
• Define architecture, deployment patterns, lifecycle roadmaps and modernization priorities across cloud, virtualised and customer-hosted environments.
• Lead major infrastructure incidents and drive root-cause and remediation to closure.
• Establish infrastructure engineering standards, configuration baselines, change controls and validation requirements.
• Coach and develop organisational infrastructure capability and transfer knowledge.
