Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver classroom, virtual, and onsite training on Industrial Automation and Control Systems for customers and stakeholders. You will plan and coordinate programs, develop new materials, and maintain training resources across regional sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related discipline and at least 3 years in industrial automation or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or control systems.
• Familiarity with Foundation Fieldbus, HART, Modbus and OPC protocols.
• IT/OT cybersecurity knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience in technical training, customer-facing roles, or application engineering.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with good customer engagement and interpersonal abilities.
• Willing to travel locally and regionally when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, virtual, and onsite training on Industrial Automation and Control Systems for customers and stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule training programs for effective delivery and resource use.
• Develop new training programs and review materials, exercises, and learning resources.
• Maintain training facilities, equipment, content, brochures, and schedules.
• Engage with customers to understand training requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare training proposals, quotations, and follow up on enquiries.
• Support local and regional training programs and deployments as required.
• Collaborate with regional and global training centres on initiatives and standardization.
• Keep up to date with developments and best practices in industrial automation and control systems.
