Job summary

Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced training specialist to deliver classroom, virtual, and onsite programs on Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS). The role includes planning schedules, developing materials, and coordinating with regional centres to standardise practices.

You will engage customers to tailor solutions, prepare proposals and support local deployments, requiring strong communication and willingness to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial automation, process control, DCS, SIS, instrumentation or related control systems.
• Familiar with Foundation Fieldbus, HART, Modbus and OPC.
• IT/OT cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in technical training or customer-facing roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, virtual or onsite training on IACS for customers and stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate and schedule training programs with optimal resource use.
• Develop and enhance course materials, exercises and learning resources.
• Maintain training facilities, equipment, schedules, and training content.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and propose learning solutions.
• Prepare training proposals, quotations and follow up on inquiries.
• Support local and regional training programs and deployments.
• Collaborate with regional and global training centres on standardised practices.
• Keep up to date with developments in industrial automation and control systems.
