Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an HR Generalist to manage core HR activities and payroll support for overseas plants across Asia. The role involves ensuring payroll data accuracy for up to 3,000 employees and coordinating with regional HR teams to resolve discrepancies.

The position requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, involvement in system implementations, and occasional travel to Asia for knowledge transfer and on-site learning. It is a full scope HR role with ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR generalist functions, including supporting payroll-related activities for overseas plants across Asia.
• Perform first-level verification and checks of high-volume payroll data for employee populations of up to 3,000 headcount, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with overseas HR teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and follow up on required corrections.
• Support the implementation, enhancement and adoption of HR/payroll systems across regional operations.
• Participate in regional HR projects and process improvement initiatives, including system implementation and process standardisation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and overseas colleagues to understand local HR and payroll processes and requirements.
• Travel to Asian countries when required to support system implementation, knowledge transfer and on-site learning.
• Undertake other HR generalist responsibilities and ad-hoc projects as required.
