Job summary

POWERPLUS GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a high-calibre Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle and commercial viability of our construction machinery portfolio.

You will serve as the critical bridge between our China manufacturing/engineering operations and our global distribution network. You will translate complex client requirements into manufacturable specs, drive strategic sourcing, pricing models, and supplier negotiations while ensuring on-time delivery from factory to site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical sales, or supply chain roles within heavy machinery or capital equipment.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract administration, and cost-reduction initiatives in cross-border manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, hydraulic schematics, and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems for order management and data analytics tools for pricing and forecasting.
• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle and commercial strategy for heavy machinery portfolio.
• Translate complex client requirements into manufacturable specifications.
• Drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost negotiations.
• Govern global pricing models and ensure flawless execution from factory floor to global site delivery.
• Collaborate with Marketing to produce technical collateral (spec sheets, comparison matrices, configuration guidelines, training manuals).
• Lead negotiations for component pricing, rebates, payment terms, lead-time SLAs, and warranties.
• Oversee end-to-end order lifecycle from technical validation to PO issuance and milestones.
• Establish and review supplier KPIs; implement CAPAs for delivery or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export-import controls, customs docs, and Incoterms.
• Act as liaison between global sales teams, overseas clients, and China-based plants to mitigate bottlenecks.
