Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years backend development experience with 3+ years in people management.
• Expert in Go or Rust; able to design and maintain large-scale systems.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL and transaction isolation.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC).
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of software engineers across different countries, supporting asset management systems.
• Serve as the technical lead for the business unit, defining the technical roadmap and engineering standards.
• Oversee delivery quality and efficiency, balancing long-term initiatives.
• Contribute to solution design and execution plans for complex problems.
• Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and lead recruitment and training for engineering groups.
• Align engineering work with business, product, operations, and risk management needs.
• Establish development processes and leverage AI to improve delivery quality.
• Represent the team in cross-department communications and coordination.
