Job summary

BIT seeks a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure across the full lifecycle for a variety of services in a globally distributed setup.

You will manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, implement Terraform-driven IaC, and advance GitOps CI/CD with GitLab CI and ArgoCD, while partnering with developers to drive AI-assisted velocity.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating full lifecycle infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration.
• Proficient in Terraform and GitOps CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on with Docker, Helm, and Karpenter for cost optimization.
• Familiarity with AWS services (VPC, EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront).

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure across the full lifecycle for a broad mix of services (CMDB, OA, monitoring, alerting, etc.).
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, automating node lifecycle and cost optimization with tooling like Karpenter.
• Define infrastructure as code and drive GitOps-based CI/CD so every change is reviewable, repeatable, and auditable.
• Partner with developers to remove friction, embedding AI-assisted and vibe-development practices into day-to-day delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Familiar with Linux and shell scripting.
• Container and orchestration experience: Docker, Kubernetes (k8s), Helm.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Karpenter.
• GitOps-based CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Experience with maintaining common AWS Cloud Services (VPC, AMI, EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, etc.).
• Experience with Golang or Python development on top of common middlewares like MySQL and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with vibe development.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of agent loops and how agentic AI systems operate.
