Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director, Sales Compensation (Intelligence & Execution) to be the global owner of sales compensation operations, ensuring accuracy, governance, and financial integrity of commission payments across the end-to-end process.

This role partners with Sales, Finance, Payroll, Legal, People Partners, and Compliance to keep compensation processes accurate, scalable, and tightly controlled while leading monthly payroll cycles and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sales compensation operations, finance governance, audit, or related field.
• Experience with enterprise compensation platforms and strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and control of global sales compensation operations.
• Model, stress-test, and forecast total plan spend and payouts.
• Ensure SOX/ICFR compliance and audit readiness for commission processing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Payroll, Legal, People Partners, and Compliance.
• Support resolution of compensation disputes and high-value payout exceptions.
• Translate complex payout rules into clear guidance for sales teams.
