Job summary

Ad Astra Consultants seeks a Head of International Business to own and propel global growth, building scalable strategies and strong market presence across multiple regions.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive partnerships with distributors and customers, and execute innovative approaches to international expansion in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with substantial travel.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in the food industry.
• Strong commercial and business-building track record across multiple international markets.
• Meaningful experience in the Gulf/GCC is highly desirable.
• Experience managing distributors, customers, margins and commercial performance.
• A proven builder mindset — someone who can fix, scale and create.
• Strong market-development and team-building capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively across international markets.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content, social media and emerging AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the existing international business, including distribution, customers, margins and commercial performance.
• Develop and execute the international growth strategy across priority markets.
• Drive business growth across the Gulf, Southeast Asia, UK, North America and Australia.
• Build and strengthen distributor and customer relationships.
• Develop new markets and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Build and lead the international business team.
• Drive the international expansion of Annapurna in the near term.
• Help build Captain Cook into a mainstream international brand across cuisines and categories.
• Bring new ideas, commercial models and innovative approaches to international growth.
• Leverage digital, content, social media and AI to build the business.
