Job summary

ByteDance's Nuverse gaming unit is seeking an experienced Platform/DevOps Engineer to design deployment architectures for overseas game services and keep online services stable. You will maintain servers, monitor systems, perform backups, and rapidly respond to incidents, while collaborating with domestic teams to enhance tooling and monitoring.

Strong ownership and cloud experience are essential in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience with Kubernetes (K8S) or other container orchestration solutions.
Proficient in AWS and GCP, with hands-on project experience and cloud service knowledge.
Knowledgeable in CI/CD to IaC technology stack with deployment experience.
Able to coordinate with stakeholders and deliver solutions under business constraints.
Demonstrates ownership and rapid learning of new technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and implement deployment architecture for overseas game services and ensure online stability.
Daily platform server maintenance, environment changes, data backups, monitoring and incident response.
Collaborate with domestic teams to improve platform operation and maintenance tools (publishing, monitoring, logs, tracing, networking).
Maintain key SLA indicators and support efficient, cost-effective, secure game operations.
