Job summary

Nova Ltd. is seeking a Service Engineer to provide product support across customer sites worldwide as part of the Global Service Group.

You will train, install, and support Nova products at customer sites, contributing to our mission of customer success in a large-scale install base. Responsibilities include implementing the Customer Support Policy, assisting OEM partners and End Users under warranty, maintaining training for users, and reporting activities to management.

Qualifications

• Practical Eng in Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent.
• Willing to use English, both written and technical discussion.
• B.Sc. in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent— advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Support Engineer - advantage
• Knowledge and experience in the Semiconductor domain - a plus.
• Previous experience working with multi-disciplinary semiconductor metrology equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
• First level software troubleshooting and support.
• Knowledge of integration with different equipment platforms and communication protocols such as SECS/HSMS.
• Understanding of semiconductor practices, safety, ergonomics, and yield requirements.
• Ability to travel 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Customer Support Policy for the OEM End User. Supervise, maintain and support company systems in the field.
• Support OEM partners, and End Users internal service as defined under warranty and service support agreements.
• Maintain, support, and guide proper training to all users, including OEM and End User personnel. (Training will be provided, in most cases, by an engineer dedicated to training).
• Maintain proper reporting methods for all activities of customer support as defined by the Territory Service Manager/Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain company’s parts inventory under the position’s control. Maintain proper level of stock in accordance with company spare parts stock policy, as set from time to time.
• Assist in new equipment integration, “add-ons,” and upgrades.
• Provide feedback to the headquarters based on experience gained with customers.
• Be prepared to support the customer beyond the defined working schedule as required.
