Job summary

Nova is seeking a meticulous engineer to work on optical metrology systems for semiconductor dimensional measurements. You will conduct feasibility studies, develop measurement programs, and perform system qualification at customer sites, both on-site and remotely.

The role includes international travel up to 25% and delivering technical training. Ideal candidates have a strong metrology background, English proficiency, and experience with optical sensors or related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, Measurement & Control Engineering, Sensor Systems Technology, Microsystems Technology, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of metrology principles and practices.
• Experience with optical measurement systems or related technologies is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to ~25%.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate data and identify root causes.
• Proven ability to deliver technical training, presentations, and customer-facing discussions in English.

• Conduct feasibility studies and application evaluations in collaboration with international customers.


• Develop and configure measurement programs for optical metrology systems prior to customer delivery.


• Perform system qualification and acceptance testing of optical measurement equipment at customer sites.


• Provide technical support to the sales & service team and deliver both on-site and remote customer training programs.


• Other tasks deemed necessary by the Management.

Requirements

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in both technical and commercial activities.


• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and external partners, while also working independently with minimal supervision.
